East Multnomah County residents can look forward to getting their fresh produce and other local or handmade items more often, as the Original Gresham Farmers Market (OGFM) will launch a new Twilight Market at Gresham Station Shopping Center starting in June. Due to high demand, OGFM is expanding to include a weeknight hours in a convenient location for those who live, work and play in East Multnomah County. The market is open on Wednesday evenings from June 5 to August 28 at 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Gresham Station Shopping Center, rain or shine. It will be the only weeknight market within the City of Gresham.<\/p>\n
More than 40 local vendors are confirmed to join the Gresham Station Twilight Market, many of whom will also showcase their products at the Original Gresham Farmers\u2019 Market on Saturdays. In addition to the local vendors, OGFM brings a wide selection of family-friendly activities, ranging from live music to petting zoos and local celebrities.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery Wednesday this summer, we\u2019re bringing new vendors to the Gresham Station Twilight Market, as well as several of our Saturday market favorites,\u201d said Jon Berlin, Market Manager. \u201cWe\u2019re really looking forward to providing the community a mid-week opportunity to buy locallygrown food and offering them with a full farmers\u2019 market experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
OGFM is partnering with Harsch Investment Properties, which acquired Gresham Station Shopping Center in September 2018. For those venturing from outside of Gresham, plenty of free parking is available at the shopping center. Additionally, for those who wish to utilize public transportation, the market is served by a nearby Trimet MAX Blue Line at stops at Civic Drive and Gresham City Hall.<\/p>\n
