This family-friendly event is FREE and filled with fun activities:
10:00 am - Giant pumpkin carving by master pumpkin carvers begins
12:00 pm - Registration opens for costume contest
1:00 pm - Costume contest begins
2:30 pm - Costume contest winners announced
3:00 pm - Free showing of Hocus Pocus
COSTUME CONTEST: You're invited to our Halloween costume contest to win one of three great prizes! Judging will be based on creativity, originality, and detail. Our judges this year include: Mayor Shane Bemis and City Councilors: Kirk French, Karylinn Echols, and Janine Gladfelter, Marty Jones of MetroEast Community Media, and Anne Endicott of the Gresham Outlook.
Those wanting to enter the contest (individual or group) must register in order to participate. Registration opens at 12:00 pm in front of the building on the Southeast corner of Civic Drive and 12th (formerly Charming Charlie). Please see official rules and regulations for more information. Children under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian with them to participate.
PRIZES: The Grand Prize is a trip for four to Disneyland (booked through Bucket List Travel Tours - some restrictions apply).
2nd Prize: $1,000 in gift cards to spend at Gresham Station shops.
3rd Prize: $500 in gift cards to spend at Gresham Station shops.
MOVIE: Stay for a special FREE screening of Hocus Pocus!
The movie will start around 3:00 pm. Concessions will be available for purchase, and there will be crafts and games for the kids.
Don't miss the GIANT pumpkins throughout the Center, carved by master carvers.
